Beyoncé, Eminem, and The Weeknd may all be headlining Coachella next year, according to a report in Consequence of Sound. This would mark each music heavyweight’s first time headlining the nation’s premier music festival.
Eminem made his first and only Coachella appearance back in 2012 as a surprise guest during Dr. Dre’s set. The Weeknd performed at Coachella twice and haD appeared as a surprise guest in 2017. Beyoncé, who previously made surprise onstage appearances in 2014 and 2010, cancelled what would have been her first headlining appearance due to her pregnancy with twins last year.
If this trio is solidified as official headliners, this would mark the first time in the festival’s history a rock band will not appear on the bill as headliners.Coachella will return for its 19th year on April 13th-15th and April 20th-22nd at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
